Does anybody remember a custom move that allowed for world creation in-session using the players? I’m also looking for the ‘take watch’ custom move discussion we had late last night.
Or, does anybody know how to look at the history of your posts through the filter of specific groups? Or even look at your comment or post history on google+? thanks 🙂
(besides the notifications bar)
If only a company that was any good at search would make a social media platform! ‘Cause what you describe would be really useful.
Seriously: you can see your own posts from your Profile > Posts. You can see some of your comments under Notifications (if someone plussed or replied to them). I don’t know of any way to actually search them for keywords or to filter them by group.
I think this is the link to the Take Watch discussion: https://plus.google.com/communities/100084733231320276299/stream/495ab0e7-7352-40c7-9718-677d19c9273e
Harrison s I believe what you’re asking for is called a “Dirty Dungeon”. Here’s a link to the word document I put together when I was reading about them. https://www.dropbox.com/s/slpttwe7x1zbepx/Dirty%20Dungeons.docx?dl=0. It contains links to the original sources. I have used the Research move several times to run one-shots and the results have run from the macabre to the absurd but always satisfying.
Thanks colin roald You found the right one for me. Ari Black That wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, but it’s close and those moves do look cool. Do you remember the discussion about moves relating to making a quick world? There was a discussion about using one move to generate an entire world and map by going around in a circle. It may have something to do with The Perilous Wilds. Jeremy Strandberg, would you know anything baout that?
Harrison s Yes, what you’re describing (the worldbuilding procedure) is from Perilous Wilds. Pretty sure Jason posted an earlier draft on the Tavern, and it hasn’t changed a ton since then. Maybe do a search for “Perilous Journeys” on the left of the Tavern.
Oh hey, there’s a search box for the community in the left sidebar! I’ve never noticed that before. I wonder when it showed up.
Thank you for pointing that out haha
