For those interested in hearing some actual play of Dungeon World, my podcast – Adventures From The Shed – is continuing in our campaign; Perils of Parandisi.  We’re in iTunes, and you can find us on the website www.adventuresfromtheshed.com

Dungeon World is still my favorite rules system!  The clean and quick style of the rules really lends itself to fluid entertainment without getting bogged down in number crunching and hunting for information on character sheets and rule books.

  1. Any chance you could get the podcast up on Stitcher? It’s the most convenient way for me to listen, but I don’t see you guys there. Always interested in hearing actual play of DW and seeing how other people run it!

  2. Joe Young Super! I’ll give a listen. I’ve read the pdf and Scrape’s pdf guide, but I’m still struggling with a few terms and concepts. I think it would really help to see/hear them in play to get a better feel for it.

  3. I hope you like it Jeff Sparks !  As you’ll hear me say through most of the early episodes, a key part of the podcast is learning the system we are playing.  We take time to explain why we are doing things instead of just doing them.  I did much the same with the D&D Starter Set episodes, which can be found earlier in the podcast list.  One goal of AFTS as a podcast is to provide some information and advice on the games we play.  We strive to be more than just a recording of people playing a game, and I’d like to think that helps set us apart from a lot of Actual Play recordings.

  4. The characters have gotten into some political intrigue in the past few episodes.  Check us out on iTunes or Stitcher radio to catch up!
