If you could pick one Brother’s Grimm Fairy Tale to use as a campaign setting, which one would it be and why?

Aren’t they basically the same setting? (Middle Europe)
NPC-wise, no. 🙂
I’d probably go with The Young Man Who Went Out to Learn What Fear Was. That one remains a favorite to this day. Excellent use of undead XD
Hansel and Gretel. A massive forest. Evil witches that eat children. Guardian angels. Magic swans. Ginger bread houses. Evil stepmothers. Poor lumberjacks…
Love it!!!
2 things worth mentioning:
Cornelia Funke’s book Reckless, and the movie Hansel and Gretel, witch hunters.
Wynand Louw I tried watching Hansel and Gretel and I just couldn’t finish it. lol XD
The TV show Once Upon A Time does this particularly well. Heck, they even included Elsa and Anna from Frozen.
Land of stories by christooher colfer.
I was always partial to the stories of 7 brothers or whatever. It was like a typical party – everyone had their niche that helped drive the narrative.
Snow White and Rose Red, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast.
I would use the Brothers Grimm movie. That put an interesting twist on the fairy tales, and used more than one.
