Has anyone made any Spelljammer related material for Dungeon World? I’ve tentatively signed myself up to run a Spelljammer Dungeon World game at an online convention the first week of November.
I’ve got the old boxed and so can do the conversion myself, I’m just trying to save myself time if someone else has already done something. Looking through the setting, the only thing I’d need is a few new racial moves for existing classes and a Spelljamming custom move. Unless I’m missing something.
Thought and/or help?
I wrote some space stuff a while back; its on here somewhere. No jamming move specifically but…
Awesome. Let me know if you find it Alfred Rudzki. I don’t technically need to make a Spelljamming custom move (as things can just be narrated) but it’d be fun to make one.

I’ll most likely steal liberally from that, cause it’s cool. I especially like the ship categories and tags. I also like the idea of spending tune to use ship moves, which are DW monster-like. Awesome.
Please steal, and let me know if they work well for you!
I made a couple monsters, but didn’t pursue the idea since my players didn’t steal that spelljammer after all. Sigh. Play to find out. Sigh.
Too bad Eric Nieudan. In that case, I would’ve said “Let’s play to find out… what you do when you wake up on this damn spelljammer ship, bitches!”
OK, not really. So I feel your pain. 🙁
Ah it was the end of the campaign anyway. There wouldn’t have been many sessions of space adventuring. Next time!

Freaking sweet Marshall Miller. Thanks.
Aren’t there a couple of Pirate hacks to steal from?
In The Fine Girl (http://www.finemessgames.com/DWsupplements/dungeonstarters) I had some stuff for making ships as a type of steading. Consider making a jammer a dungeon to explore first and then converting it to a steading or playbook after it has been negotiated.
I think for the one shot Christopher Stone-Bush is planning a steading may work better. Unless he really wants a crazy ship to ship fight.
Joshua Cupp I have a Pirates! supplement on RPGnow but it is wooden sail ships, a Jack Sparrow sort of thing. It may provide inspiration but it is not really spelljammer stuff. Pirate World was a kickstarter in December last year, but who knows when it will deliver. I think the Dis space rules above are prolly your best bet.

I figured it would work well because there are plenty of wooden ships in Spelljammer and it’s not like real space you just make the ocean the phlogiston and remember the stupid gravity. The real challenge is a gun toting hippo fighter playbook.
Joshua Cupp I can help with that too. ☺ Check out the Bombardier playbook…
