Can someone tell me what version of InDesign will open the Dungeon World character sheet templates on github? Or is there an alternative to using InDesign to create your own class? I know for certain CS6 will not open them. Thanks for any help or advice.

There’s a template on here somewhere in the files section I believe that opens in google docs word and open office.
I’m using CS6 without issue. What problem are you having?
CS6 is also working fine for me, although the templates are somewhat out of date compared to the release playbooks, and I’m missing several of the fonts used (and so had to substitute).
Can you link on over? I’d be happy to check.
Can you guys just share a blank or default character sheet file with me that works in CS6? I am using the ones from the DW github here https://github.com/Sagelt/Dungeon-World/tree/master/character_sheets
As an alternative, my MS Word playbook template is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3jBKG-w4xhFSWpRb042a1RZaTg/edit?usp=sharing
and my Open Office template is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3jBKG-w4xhFdmFqQ2xRS3FRdEk/edit?usp=sharing
What’d probably help is grabbing one of these and turning them into IDML, which should work as an importable for earlier versions of ID. I’ll try it with one of them, hang on.
Try this file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rpilumuq9sqno1v/Fighter.idml
If that works, and you need a different one in that format, just tell me which one.
Fred Hicks You are the man! That worked. Now I just need to find the appropriate missing fonts.
Robert Finamore Thanks for the Word template too!
Mike Wice Minion Pro should come with InDesign (it usually does); Newcomen is a possibly pricy pro font… anything else?
