Greetings All,
My group is hungering for James Bond action but don’t want to leave the DW engine. Everyone is hooked on this style of play………so……….
Can anyone point me to a rules set based on the DW or AW engine that would work well for a James Bond campaign.
Also any character playbooks for 00 agents and villains?
Thanks
I don’t know of anything. Monster of the Week allows to play a bunch of agency agents but you wouldn’t really be doing Spy stuff.
I think Sixth World might be the closest to what you’re looking for…or, at least, you should be able to reskin the playbooks into something Bond-ish.

Way back when, there was also Minions Inc., which was in the vein of Venture Bros., but all signs of it have vanished from my Google Fu.
Or maybe also John Harper and Paul Riddle ‘s The Regiment

Possibly also Monster of the Week could be reskinned for that.
Might look at the Apocalypse World core book, wouldn’t be hard to see what is there then rewind to before the apocalypse.
edit-just remembered that there’s an earlier post not too long ago with an excel spreadsheet of all the world hacks to the DW rules for just about every genre, pulled from the list: World of Secrets as well as plenty of other modern setting hacks. Give that a try.
Outside of DW ruleset, the only things that come close as the games are full of action & mystery is Chaosium BRP with its simple d100% rules or Pelgrane Press with the more pulpy d6 Gumshoe system.
Thanks for all the posable directions.
Now to dig in and see what’s closest.
