Hello, fellow Tavernites!
I have a question and would like to hear your thoughts on the matter: Can one Aid an Aid move?

Strictly speaking, there is nothing “by rule” preventing it as long as the person aiding the aid move has a good explanation of how they are doing so. Non-strictly speaking, it would cause a lot of rolling for something simple, slowing down the game, and as a GM I would just say no.
Super positive for me: that’s how it works when the party says “we all search the room for clues”. The fighter aids the wizard who aids the cleric who aids the thief who’s rolling discern realities.
I have no idea how that might work out of context. But sure, why not?
And, if they all get 7-9 while aiding, please remember they have to pay a price, usually the same the main character suffer.
Alessandro Gianni do you make the rolls all at the same time?
I don’t know, the players do as they wish. I’m used to both ways though.
This particular game is ran via pbp, so to Aid or not to Aid is decided after we can see that someone needs it.
Can you put a bag of holding in a bag of holding?
That’s just calling for a hard move… 😉
Wynand Louw no, the space-time continuum would collapse across all realities – utter nothingness.
