Holy crud! I love Dungeon World. I just finished session 5 of my 1-on-1 game with Ajax the Fighter and me as GM. I am rushing to catch the end of the UFC event, but just wanted to shout about how damn cool the game is first!

Yes, but I’m in the middle of this evening’s UFC event. I’ll post more tomorrow.
Here’s a quick summary of the first 4 sessions.

Joachim Erdtman Just read it over dinner, great story & game play! Thanks for sharing.
Yes, a good read. I love the Blue Coats with the signal bells. Also, as a novice at DW, I like your references to moves, unwelcome truths, etc. Thanks!
The Blue Coats featured big time in session 5, as Ajax failed a massive 13 rolls and in the process lost everything, including her signature weapon and life. I hope to update the story this weekend.
Joachim Erdtman Great! Phrase continue describing the moves. Also, what did you base the Blue Coats on? Anything historic?
Everything’s is improvised, but the Blue Coats sprang to mind as I’ve been reading George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, and the city guard in the royal capital is called “the red cloaks.”
Another point on the Divine Blue Coats, I didn’t want just a faceless force of city guards, so I gave them a name, in sticking with the game’s Principles.
The “divine” part we got from the fact that the Steading had that tag. They have now developed into a church run police force. Much fun!
