Page 216 (pdf 218). How the hell does Opportunity work?
Subtract one steadings thing from distance, then square root of pi the other steading and then compare with one of the two steadings. How does this actually work?

Okay, you’ve got two steadings, Aggressor and Defender. Aggressor has enmity against Defender. Their military (“defenses”, which represent things like town guard, militia, standing army, etc) will lose one category ‘level’ for each day of travel it takes to get over there. Also, the larger steading gets an effective boost in level for each size category (city over town, town over village, etc) it has over the other: what a town considers a ‘guard’ a village might consider a ‘garrison’, etc. Would Aggressor’s army still beat Defender’s? Then it marches over there, and kicks over their sandcastle.
Cool, that makes sense, thanks guys.
