Discern Realities
This article made me think of the DW +1 Forward mechanic on the Discern Realities move. Some of these ideas can be easily adapted for DW play and make Discern Realities more attractive to more characters.

How is DR unattractive?
I liked the examples they gave, sometimes people need examples or ideas to get their own ideas going. A player playing a fighter might not think “I’ll discern realities on this guy’s fighting style to get a bonus.” because it’s not readily obvious or a mechanic that is used in a lot of other system.
A player of mine brought this to my attention and am passing it on. It helped them so might help someone else.
Eric Lochstampfor that’s a great example. When I play a DW I always try to Discern Realities before a fight! It’s how you get a drop on your enemies. That +1 is a big deal.
