For those that are super Hangout savvy, is there a way for me to share music during a hangout? We use Roll20 which has the jukebox feature, but unfortunately it just pipes from SoundCloud which means I’d have to upload my copyrighted ambience tracks and set them to public. Not too hot on that. Any suggestions?

Maybe do you know Grooveshark?

Hell yeah, Grooveshark Broadcast. I’ll even share my playlists with you. I’ve got a Dungeon World standard one and a DW Badass one to crank it up to 11. >:)
I looked at Grooveshark a while back but didn’t dig into back then. Can I upload my own stuff and have it only accessible to people via password or something? Is it adjustable on the fly as far as switching tracks and the whole party would be hearing those changes in real time?
Just checked it out again. It looks like its gonna suffer from the same problem as SoundCloud. Anything I put up would be available to anyone and what I’m using is copyrighted stuff.
Just use the stuff that’s already there. Avengers, 300, and Transformers shuffled together make a wicked soundrack.
I seem to recall someone saying you can use the YouTube app to just share music, but that falls under the same problem as the roll20 jukebox. You might can look into using a virtual audio cable to get in working in the mic input, though.
Here’s my DW Badass playlist. Give a listen. I don’t think you’ll be disappinted:

Hey Joel, thanks for sharing. Those are cool and probably great for epic combats but I’m aiming for more background nonmusic ambience. Like this:

And I’ve bought a bunch of stuff like that so would like to use it. I just need a good way of putting it into my Hangout that doesn’t infringe on copyright laws by making it publicly available to everyone for free.
I should probably give a plug for the fellow that made the stuff I’m using. I think his website is almost finished. I like what I’ve heard so far.
