Real nice ! Where did you get the illustration ?
yeah that’s pretty fantastic image!
Great art!
The Dungeon World Brasil is great! 🙂
That’s pretty awesome. The art and the sigil are both excellent.
I love seeing this. It’s just like English DW visually, but with these nice twists.
Sooo cool
Is the English Barbarian out of playtest? Or is it still being worked on?
It’s as done as any PDF ever is. We might come back to it some day, but we don’t have anything we know we need to change, or gather more info on.
Is there an intro blurb for it, like there is for the other classes at the beginning of the book?
Nope, though I should push Adam Koebel to write one.
Since the Barbarian just has a sheet, not a chapter, we don’t have space for it, but maybe I can put it on the download page.
Those blurbs are so instrumental in setting the tone for new players, especially ones that have played D&D or Pathfinder. It lets them know that this game is turning the badassery up to 11. 🙂
Thanks for the nice comments guys! Magi max this illustration was made by Ig Guara a friend who worked with DC and Marvel. You can check his work at: http://www.comicvine.com/ig-guara-barros/4040-56728/
Sage LaTorra: he could probably do with a few more 6-10 moves, since the last version I saw only had six.
(Or did I miss a newer update?)
Hmmm, I guess he is still a little moves-light. Guess what we’re doing today, Adam Koebel?
Can I guess too? Is the answer “writing three or four more 6-10 moves for the Barbarian?” >.>
Sage LaTorra: something I suggested a while ago was making the “mark off an appetite and mark XP” move a starting move, since it seems integral to the character class (pursuing your appetites is your motivation). Did you ever give that any thought? Just out of curiosity.
