I’m loving http://codex.dungeon-world.com/
But do folks have any suggestions on how best to pick and select a few monsters for printing purposes?

The monsters in the popular list are well done usually in my point of view.
True, but I’m looking to tailor a page or two of critters for use in a Dungeon. I’m still old skool enough that I game with pen and paper..
You can still use the hundreds monsters in the core book. ^^
Anyway the Drowded and the Goblin King are monster I think I will put in a dungeon for first session/first level group of players.
Set up a Word (or your word processor of choice) document with 2 columns for the page layout. You should be able to fit 4 Monsters per sheet that way with a simple copy and past.
I had to adjust the text boxes on some, since the top part (tags, HP, hit dice, etc) extended into the space between the columns. Once resized, everything fits in fine.
Edit: This will also let save your groups by location in case any get revisited.
I didnt undestand your question Santo. 🙁
Copy/Paste worked for me when I put a monster into an email. Would probably work in a word processor…
