Just finished watching Mononoke Hime. Besides being a nearly-perfect film, it’s a great example for a Dungeon World campaign.
Ashitaka is a perfect Good Ranger. His relationship with Yakul is a fantastic example of an Animal Companion.
San is a great inspirer for the upcoming Barbarian class, too.
Most relevant, though – there are so many Fronts in play. The world of the movie is in massive flux and the characters are stuck right in the midst of it.
Really cool! Watch it if you haven’t, yet!
Ashitaka’s curse is a perfect example of a failed Volley that leads to a whole campaign.
This is a habitual problem of mine, turning everything into Dungeon World.
I have no idea why you’d think this was a “problem”.
Problem? Wh… oh, Dylan beat me to it.
Reminds me of the “problem” I still suffer from sometimes: interpreting things though the lens of Unknown Armies.
