Is there a restriction on changing alignments?

Is there a restriction on changing alignments? For example, the starting alignments on Druid’s Character Sheet are chaotic, good and neutral. Can the player change alignment to anything else than the three?

In Dungeon World Guide it says: “In Dungeon World, the PCs’ actions should be based in the game fiction”.

In Dungeon World Guide it says: “In Dungeon World, the PCs’ actions should be based in the game fiction”. What about levelling up? Especially multiclassing. How could The Fighter suddenly learn how to speak with animals or how to cast spells? Do the players have to try learning it fictionally before the mechanical level up? e.g. Einhardt tried to talk to a black bear once, it ended violently. But a few days later Einhardt finally learned how to communicate with wild animals. (And if Einhardt’s player didn’t try to talk to the bear he probably couldn’t gain this move.)

I know that in Dungeon World the GM doesn’t have to roll dice.

I know that in Dungeon World the GM doesn’t have to roll dice. But what if the GM rolls all the dice for the players? Wouldn’t that make it a more immersive experience? Players could focus on the fiction completely outside of character creation and levelling up.

Hi.

Hi.

Hi. I’m new both to Dungeon World and Tabletop RPG. However Dungeon World seems rules lite enough for me to run and close enough to D&D which I’m somewhat familiar (because I’m a fan of Baldur’s Gate) so I’m thinking to give it a try. However as I lack the experience in being a DM I’m worried that I might mess up. Any tips?

P.S. I can’t learn from joining another Dungeon World session as a player either. It’s pretty much unknown in where I live.
