I finally finished filling out my spreadsheet of missing race/alignment combinations for the base classes. In keeping with the intent of the rules, I tried to make these combinations a little trickier to play so that you don’t suddenly get chaotic dwarf paladins out the wazoo.

I’m interested to know if you have any comments. Some combinations were pretty hard to come up with.

I copied a few moves from https://img.4plebs.org/boards/tg/image/1391/93/1391936683557.pdf, but I found most of them too uninteresting or derivative to use.

I think I get why the core classes are restricted to certain race/alignment combinations.

I think I get why the core classes are restricted to certain race/alignment combinations. But for the sake of player freedom I thought it would be interesting to fill out all possibilities for starting characters by adding new racial abilities and alignment goals. Why not play as an evil dwarf bard?

To help come up with stuff that fits the canon, I made a spreadsheet that shows the existing stuff alongside the gaps. Does anyone have ideas for these? I have some thoughts, but I’m definitely stumped on a few (what does a good barbarian want to do?).

To emphasize that these combinations are odd and should be played differently than the canonical ones, I also added a new starting move that makes it a little harder to blend in with normal society.
