Been far too long between uploads, but my campaign has been getting in the way of my doodling. These were suposed to be part of a DungeonScapes bundle, but I just haven’t had a chance to properly packagae them.

Just a bunch of generic dungeon chambers.

Can anyone offer up some ideas of just what exactly it looks and feels like ”beyond the Black Gates of Death’s Kingdom?”

I ask because we have a character who died and failed his Last Breath roll. We are now looking at a ressurection in order to bring him back.

The player has expressed an interest in exploring what its like to be raised from the dead, what sort of thngs his charcter experiences in Death’s Kingdom before returning to life.

Originally I asked him to come up with his own idea, but he said he’d prefer not to. He feels that this is one thing that really should be ‘beyond his control’, so-to-speak.

Anyway, we know he is standing in Death’s Kingdom for the time being. The problem is that I don’t know what to do with it.

Is Death’s Kingdom a final diestination? Does he keep your soul forever?

Is it more of a purgatory, a temporary stopover, before movng along o the heavens or the abyss?

Anyway, thanks in advance.

I’ve seen it written that the PCs are truly unique and that there is only one fighter, only one paladin, etc, etc.

My question is why?

What’s the benefit of there being only 1 Ranger in the world?

What would be so terrible about an NPC cleric?

Especially when the fiction would dictate there be more. A wizards guild. A Paladins Order. A Thieves Syndicate. You get the idea.

Or is all this really supposed to mean that there should only be one example of a given player-character class at the game table at one time?

Thoughts?

This is the ghost town of Alhm, a mining steading whose inhabitants all died overnight when toxic fog from the various naturally occurring chemicals leeching into the quarry billowed through the area, suffocating everything alive.

In the meantime, still working on a couple of DungeonScape bundles, but my campaign has put that stuff on the back burner for that last week or so.

Cheers!

Well, for better or worse here it is . . .

My first DungeonScapes bundle. This is one is a freebee and I’m putting it out there in hopes of getting some feedback to see what sort of improvements can be made.

Check it out. See what you think. Tell me how many pennies you think something like this could fetch.

Cheers.

So . . . Up until now, I have been sketching complete dungeon environments like the one I posted of the sewers.

Now I’m Tossing around the idea of making a series of reusable, modular-esque dungeon elements, such as a torture chamber, a treasure vault, an armoury, etc that GMs can print out and sorta throw down when needed.

In other words, rather than create a one shot dungeon, I work up a bunch of dungeon parts that can used as needed, over and over.

First of all, would there be any interest in theses and second, if I were contemplating selling them, say 1$ a bundle, how do I go about setting that up?

Thanks in advance.

I needed a doodle for the sewers under the streets of Starkenhold.

Here’s what I came up with.

There’s a lot going on and I may need to clean it up a bit, but take a gander . . .

Looking for some help in fleshing out a custom move.

Looking for some help in fleshing out a custom move.

my players have shown interest in taking DWs approach to ammo and applying it to wealth management.

No one wants to have to catalogue every last coin in there posession or what each persons daily living expenses might be, so we are trying to come up with a abstract means of hashing it out.

Something along the lines of . . .

When you enjoy an extended stay in a steading, and live life high on the hog thanks to your spoils, at the end of one week (?), roll+? (Maybe charisma?)

On a 10+, you live like a king and still manage to maintain your personal stash.

On a 7-9, you live like a king but you have to dip into to your personal stash. Reduce your spoils by 1.

In the above example “spoils” are like units of accumulated wealth. As long as you have at least one, you e got enough to go on living.

At any rate, what I have so far seems clunky and needs some work. Any suggestions would be welcome.
