Not for an existing session or even intended as prep for one, just goofing off and killing a few hours making a map using a combination of something I saw Eric Nieudan post (https://plus.google.com/+EricNieudan/posts/4mrSgq2YLJj) and Jason Lutes’s Perilous Worlds region/area tables. All the numbers and letters correspond to region/area names that should function really nicely as inspiration for discoveries, dungeons and steadings found around those spots.

Doing things like this as solitaire entertainment/excuse to draw while listening to a podcast or something is surprisingly fun, even if – or especially if – there’s no game around it.

Does anyone play DW games via live text chat? Combining the rapid response of Hangouts with the text-centric aspect of PbP? Maybe via Hangout chat or Roll20.

If this isn’t already a thing, would anyone be interested in trying it out?

Sorry if this is sort of off-topic, but this community is larger and more engaged than any other place I can think to ask this. Had anyone here played the AW hack The Hood? (PDF on drivethroughrpg)

I’d love to hear PBtA players’ opinion on it before I run it.

Thanks!

I’m planning on running a PbP DW game soon and I’m looking for suggestions for free forums that can accommodate a game. I looked at pbpmap.com and giantitp.com a little. I’m not a huge fan of rpggeek.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Sorry if I missed an obvious resource somewhere – can anyone point me in the best direction for PbP DW games?

Sorry if I missed an obvious resource somewhere – can anyone point me in the best direction for PbP DW games? I’m dying to play but my schedule isn’t great for a Hangout game and cobbling together my IRL friends’ schedules for a face to face game is proving annoying as well.

Thanks!
