I keep thinking about this starting session question/love letter:

“Fighter, you tell everyone you seek [enter big bad boss monster] because you want the honor of defeating it in single combat. Why are you really seeking it? Why didn’t you tell anyone, even your trusted companions?”

If you were asked that, what would be your awesome answer?

So if you are interested in playing in my friday night PbtA game.

So if you are interested in playing in my friday night PbtA game. Join this community. This is where we will plan everything.

EDIT: Games will be played friday nights between 8pm and midnight EST (GMT-5)

I don’t know if it’s okay to post as i’m not searching exclusively for Dungeon World players, but I guess there…

I don’t know if it’s okay to post as i’m not searching exclusively for Dungeon World players, but I guess there might be some people here who would like to try many of the different PbtA games.

I’m looking for players for a series of Powered by the Apocalypse mini-campaigns!

I have been itching to play the PbtA games I have accumulated for a while now. I would like to get a semi-regular group going on Fridays after 8pm to 11pm-12am EST( GMT -5). I’m thinking we could do 1-3 months (4 to 16 sessions) campaigns of a series of different games with one-shots in between if we are missing a player or if we have someone jumping in.

I’m looking for 3-4 players who can commit for most Friday nights and who are exited to play Powered by the Apocalypse games. I would GM most of the time but I wouldn’t mind being a player every once in a while too. I plan on using Roll20 + Skype (voice and camera) with an option to switch to Discord when they offer a video option.

Here’s a non-restrictive list of the games I would like to try:

-Dungeon World

-The Sprawl

-Uncharted World

-Urban Shadows

-Apocalypse World

-The Veil

-A super exclusive unreleased Johnstone Metzger game of Not-Game of thrones.

-Impulse Drive

-The Regiment

-Worlds in peril

and many more

Have the stupidest of question tonight, but I have been racking my brain and searching all around the book and can’t seem to find my answer:

What does the b or w mean when monster damage is listed like this?:

b[2d10]+2

Thanks in advance!

I recommend using http://game-icons.net/ to find icons to differentiate your different handout/documents in Roll20.

Here’s an example for my Grim portents and Stakes questions from my upcoming game of #dungeonworld using #coldruinsoflastlife. It’s a bit of a #spoiler:

Has anyone done a gonzo “every playbooks” DW game?

Has anyone done a gonzo “every playbooks” DW game? With the wealth of them available it’s bound to create a unique party of adventurers for sure. I’m curious to hear your weird/gonzo party composition stories.
