Very King in Yellow. I think it would work great as an eerie Dungeon World adventure, but might be better for Monster-of the-Week.
Firstly, thank you Mark Tygart for the comment and +1. I appreciate you taking the time to read my stuff. Secondly, I am unfamiliar with Monster of the Week, outside of its existence. Is there anything I could do to make it more DW friendly? I run a weekly DW game, but honestly I am pretty clueless when it comes to the overall mechanics. I dig the system, but am kinda clueless when it comes to creating tension and when to do what move. So, any suggestions for the setting will also end up making me a better DW-DM!

Really good work, Ian Hagan .
It is weird and terribly unsettling – it reminds me a more lyrical version of the Nightmare city of “Don’t Rest Your Head.” However, the feeling is more urban (and really dark) fantasy than classical fantasy. I fear the rulesets you chose aren’t really in line with the vibe of the city.
Do you know chronicles of darkness, or unknown armies? I think they could be good rulesets for the Neon City, especially if you alternate phases inside the city and outside of it. Or you may try with other powered by apocalypse, in particular black stars rise or “the world of our desires”, maybe Urban shadows may work perfectly, too.
