The Spellslinger channels their magic through runes tattooed on their body. Not sure if that is what you are looking for but it has been one of the favorite playbooks at our table.
Literally any magical playbook. What in the Wizard means that arcane runes aren’t at the heart of their practice?
You could also do this with the Bard. The performance could be the inscription of the runes as an artform, kind of like artistic Caligraphy.
