So, knowing that this isn’t exactly within the spirit of the game, has anyone created additional playbooks or have tips for adapting DW playbooks to Freebooters?

  1. Awesome, thanks +Jason Lutes and Asbjørn H Flø! I’m playtesting Freebooters 2E as a player right now in a PBP and I’m about to start running my own game, which I’m very excited about! My players are excited too but were interested in potentially getting to play other classes, particularly those who aren’t particularly into the OSR thing.

  2. Jeb E I’ve been thinking of a monk playbook; mostly because I want to create a table very much like the spell table – but for Monk techniques. Also would love a random table to make up the name of the monk school.

If anyone has ever watched or read Fist of the North Star, every single fight the various techniques are named; and every character who fights is a member of a particular school or bloodline that has a special fighting style.

Things like: Spilling Wheel Exploding Fist, Hundred Crack Snap, Every-Way Beheading, Steel-Rending Grasp, etc etc…

Boy, I’m going to miss this space… (G+ that is).
