  1. This one came straight from my players. To win the favour of the King of Trolls, and avoid having the Bard marrying a love smitten troll, the heroes suggested hunting something the King of Trolls haven’t been able to catch. When I asked them what manner of beast stalks these mountains, the Ranger answered: a giant cat. We ended last session on a missed Keep Watch, and when I shared this image on our facebook group the players commented: “Unless somebody has a giant ball of yarn or a laser pointer, we’re fucked.”

  2. I love this so much.

“That hill you’ve been marching towards, hoping to make camp on it. It, uh… it gets up. Stretches. Holy shit, it’s a cat. On a landscape scale. Oh, crap, it just saw you. It’s wiggling its butt, what do you do?”

  3. Jeremy Strandberg oh!!! That’s even bigger than I imagined. That’s perfect. Perhaps they even camped on top of it!

“The ground is moving. And purring. The ground is purring.”
