  1. Yochai Gal Yes, and depending on the game I might increase the XP required for level-up (8+lvl or 9+lvl).

    End of Session XP gives 2-3 per session

    Flags give another XP per session

    Drives give another XP per session

  2. Yochai Gal Not really. I think my players really enjoyed making bonds but often forgot about them during the game. Bonds are kind of nebulous (is our friendship “resolved”??)

    Flags are a much more concrete thing. I was worried they would be too negative but turns out that players enjoy acting in character, even if their character is hurt or offended.

    Flags have really done wonders for my table, and encourages players to role-play with one another.

    I limit flag XP to one per session, but the original flag concept allowed for 2 Flag XP per session. It depends on how fast you want your character to level up.

    Flags hardly ever change. If they do it can be a major character shift.
