This might sound like a strange question, but if someone was running a Dungeon World by Gaslight style game, what playbooks would be closest to Marvel’s The Punisher and Spiderman?

Have you considered making your own playbook with Class Warfare?
I’d start by looking at Inverse World’s Survivor and Walker playbooks.
Steal the Gunlugger from AW ? Nahh, not enough advanced moves. I think the Spellslinger is worth looking at, they’re a heavy ranged damage class. Start thinking about what makes the Punisher unique and distinctive (loss, grief, rage, caches of equipment, combat monster, special equipment, taking off the costume), and start finishing the sentence that starts with “When you…”; which is a good approach to designing any playbook.
