Has anybody tried converting the Apocalypse World 2e Threat Map for use in Dungeon World? Fronts are fine and all, but I find the Threat Map to be a bit more organic and intuitive.

  1. shouldn’t be too hard. I always saw the threat types line up nicely.

The only hard part is AW assumes you have a town and you’re going to stay put. DW I think involves some more globetrotting? So the map feature might break down a bit.

  2. You can download them here: apocalypse-world.com – Apocalypse World. Essentially, it’s like Fronts, except instead of arranging your Dangers/Threats into groups, you place them on an abstract map. The inner ring is the PCs, their immediate surrounding and their stuff. The middle ring is stuff that’s currently affecting them or soon will be. And the outer ring is stuff that’s further away. Then the rings are split into segments: North, East, South, West, In, Out, Up, Down. It’s just a more concrete realization of Fronts.
