Would anyone care to be a beta tester for my random generator Android app?

It has generators for The Perilous Wilds, Freebooters on the Frontier, and Maze Rats.

To download the app: https://betas.to/guJ4ZNqt

(that link will have you install Crashlytics’ Beta app, which will let me track usage, crashes, and keep you updated with new versions as I fix problems)

  1. Brett Slocum which app download/install are you referring to?

The link should take you to a sign up page where you enter an email, then you’ll get an email with a link to download the Crashlytics Beta app.

Once Beta is installed, it’ll give you an interface to download my RPGPad app, Beta downloads my app and then it should take you to the typical APK install screen where you can choose whether to accept the install and be shown the permissions the app is requesting. At what point in that process did things fail for you?

  2. It seems like there’s been a lot of issues with the install process… Not sure where that’s failing for people, but of the dozen or so people that have submitted their email and attempted to install… Only around half have actually completed the install process.

  3. For what it’s worth… I’m hoping to have the artwork and UI finalized within the next week or two, and then I’ll post the app to Google Play. Hopefully that’ll be a lot smoother once the beta app is out of the install workflow
