I’m very proud of my involvement with this project. What Jason is too polite to say in his post on his site is he did a wonderful job in revising my work to the point that several of my starters (unlike Miller’s) have been essentially rewritten to the point of being almost new to fit his high standards. Jason’s products are simply some of the the best supplements in general you will find for Dungeon World and I am very pleased beyond measure he found something worthwhile in my efforts for the hobby. This has been a very dark year for me personally and his updates on this project along with his inspired revisions always made me smile. I hope this little collection of Dungeon Starters will make you smile as well-

Here’s Jason:

One side project I’ve been chipping away at for close to a year is this collection of dungeon starters, which just went live on DriveThruRPG. It contains 5 starters by Marshall Miller and 15 by Mark Tygart, all edited and updated from their original forms.

The original versions of these starters are still online and available for free! There are no plans for that to change.

So why collect them and charge money? I wanted to put the best of the bunch in one convenient pdf, with a consistent design and editorial standard. That took a surprising amount of time and effort!

So I’m charging $5. That’s 25 cents per starter — seems like a decent deal to me.

  1. Marshall Miller Yes, he is a gentleman in every sense. As an example he allowed me to dedicate the collection to my dad who died this year, the type of small grace that is illustrative of the man.

  2. Marshall Miller Mark Tygart  I just bought this, and I want to say thank you. I’m running a DW campaign in the perilous wilds ATM, but don’t have nearly as much time to prep as I’d like. You guys are game savers for sure.
