I used the Dog-Men Cometh funnel starter from Funnel World, and my players had a great time.

I used the Dog-Men Cometh funnel starter from Funnel World, and my players had a great time. Thought you might enjoy the nursery rhymes my villagers recalled from their childhood in Deerwick.

Deerwick is a moderately prosperous town due to the dairy trade, and worship the god Tillamook. Their nearby rival village is Butterkeep, dedicated to the god Kraft. Once a week, a new citizen is selected to stand on the road to Kraft and flip them off.

The adventure began in the general store, where all the villagers had hidden due to the attack of the dog-men

  1. Really cool!

The Dogmen in my game were chanting the nursery rhymes to taunt the villagers. The session I ran had pretty heavy horror-siege vibes, so it made total sense to me at the time.

  2. Tony Reyes yeah, my group tends towards the silly. I even planned an encounter with Albert the Owlbear — a cursed bed & breakfast proprietor with an awful French accent.

I should have leaned more towards the horror on this a few times.
