Ive watched princess bride the movie and am now reading the book. When they mentioned miracle men I thought of a game move. What do y’all u think?

When you ask for a miracle man’s help roll 2d6.

10+ = solution with little or no cost or side effect

7-9 = solution with one flaw or big cost

6- = at least one major cost, long wait, and bad side effect.

  1. The rationale to make it +nothing rater than +CHA is that you’re testing the effectiveness of the cure, not necessarily your ability to negotiate.

When you ask the miracle man for an elixir, roll+nothing. *On a 10+, choose one. *On a 7-9, choose two. *On a 6-, all three.

    – The elixir will require an expensive or dangerous ingredient, which you’ll have to supply.

    – The elixir will take a long time both to prepare and to work.

    – The elixir will have a nasty side effect.
