When you enter a bare knuckle boxing tournament to scrounge up some coin Roll Hack & Slash as normal but on a 6 or less also Roll+ CON. On a 10 You just take damage. On a 7-9 you take damage and gain 1 KO. On a 6 gain 2 KO. If your KO ever exceeds your CON you are knocked out regardless of HP and lose 1d4 teeth. You lose all KO when you Make Camp.

  1. Does that 6– result replace the usual GM’s hard move?  It’s a little dry.  You could alternately go with something as simple as “on a miss, roll Defy Danger+CON to avoid being knocked out”.

As a technical thing that probably doesn’t really matter, your trigger implies that one of the results should involve winning some coin.  As written, it should maybe be more like “when you fight in a bare-knuckle boxing tournament” — but if you aren’t set on playing out every fight blow-by-blow, you could rewrite a move that represents the tournament bout-by-bout, instead.  On a success, you win the bout and advance toward the prize money.  10+ relatively unscathed, 7–9 you collect some abuse, 6– you go home in humiliation.  Something like that?

(The best part of bare-knuckle boxing tournaments is the dirty tricks.  I hope you leave space for them.)
