Wasn’t sure if anyone has asked this already, but how do you handle Adventuring Gear now that there explicit items you can equip?

  1. I’ve been treating it just like I do in regular DW, although my players have also purchased some specific gear (grappling hook, tent, etc.).  I just rule that Adventuring gear is a pack containing small things like chalk, rope, chisel, spikes, etc., and anything larger/more specialized they have to buy separately.

  2. I had not articulated it before, but what John Marron describes is exactly how I do it. I tried to price the Adventuring Gear such that you’re likely to not get your money’s worth on a coin-by-coin basis, but the tradeoff is (obviously) that you can produce solutions as problems arise.
