Had a character Bite the Dust from essentially a xenomorph facehugger and survive with the permanent inability to speak in the first session.

Everyone at the table says this first session of freebooters was the best session we have all had in 5 years of gaming together.

This campaign is going to be fucking rad and I am absolutely excited!

  1. Weird – our first “bite the dust” resulted in a crushed voice box (one of the thieves got throttled by a skeleton as he tried to relieve it of a gold necklace. Glad your session went so well! We’re really enjoying the game.

  3. That’s so great to hear, John Love! And weird combined with John Marron’s comment, because our first time using that move resulted in someone having their vocal cords ripped out. Now I’m worried there’s an unconscious anti-voice agenda in the mechanics! :O
