Semi-off-topic: A while back somewhere (I think on here) someone had posted a link to a “Player’s Principles” doc (sort of the “How to play” version of the GM Principles from the book).

Anyone know where that lives (and who to thank for it)?

  1. Good stuff (and now a nice fresh bookmark, thank you), but not quite the one I was hoping to track down.

I have a print of this one (I keep it with my D&D character), it was 8 pages with a “Player Agenda” and “Player Principles” section (like the GM section in the main rulebook).

I was hoping to share the link with players in an online game that I run.

  2. I put it together, but pulled from several writers far more brilliant than I. I mentioned them in the original post, and will try to find that to credit them again.

  3. Two invaluable resources were:

Grant Howitt’s 11 Ways to be a Better Roleplayer, and A post by Painlord on the Paizo forums in which he offers stupendous advice on forum roleplay.
