Brisbane and Morley

Brisbane and Morley

Two city guards with a knack for showing up at the wrong time, but every once in awhile these bufoons can be a goldmine.

When you are confronted by Brisbane and Morley, tell them what the meaning of all this is and roll +CHA. On a 10+ they are easily fooled and reveal a piece of useful information. On a 7 -9 pick one:

Their stupidity wastes your time.

Their stupidity costs you money.

Their stupidity smears your good name.

On a 6 or less, you’re going down town!

  1. Even though it’s a the name of a state capital city here, I like the aptness of the name Brisbane for one of the characters (I’ve looked up its etymology and meaning before)

  2. They are not a specific reference to anything but I always sort of think of them as a pair of Disney characters, like bumbling villain henchmen only they are police officers. In my head one is tall and skinny and one is short and plump. Sometimes a pain sometimes an asset, always comic relief at the expense of the characters or themselves.

Just think of them as a good 7-9 option in any city environment.
