  1. Fun and flavorful, would fit well in a “everyone uses magic” setting (like Earthdawn or Exalted). Only disappointment is there is no move that actually conjures a cart to hitch to your steed.

    You know, cuz he’s a cart-o-mancer? 😜

  2. Cartomancy move. I’d boost a little the various options:

-You can’t lose the way, you can always find you way back (maybe this can substitute the “internal map” move)

    – You are very good at optimize rations. Every time you and an ally have to consume a ration, remove just one for you both (easier to take track of, too…).

    – You are fully rested with few hours of sleep. So, you can always choose to help an ally to Take Watch, and you can treat a result of 6- like a 7.

    – You don’t leave tracks. It’s impossible to follow you, with the exception of direct shadowing.

  3. An Adept Traveler…

        – You can form a hump on your back to store water

😀 what an ugly mental picture I have for this one…

However, I’d change it in something like “You can walk for weeks with a single ration of water”.

Maybe the hump could be a complication of a 7-9 result…

  4. “May the Road Rise to Meet You” what is the range? Near? Far? Only Reach?

“and leave yourself open to attack.” it could be difficult to apply for a GM. Ie. If the enemies are far, and with no ranged weapons, it could clash in the fiction. Better stick with the classic “put in a corner or draw attention”.

Also, with a good roll you can hit 3 enemies and do damage each, with no ammo expenditure. Not bad.

  5. “Home is Where the Heart Is: When you name a place to be your true home, you will always know the quickest way to return there.”

Nice, maybe a little underpowered for a 6-10 move. I’d put at least an additional “the journeys for that place are really fast, your party need to consume half rations during the way”.
