Dungeon World quick one-shot starter
The forces of evil have won. You are guarding the last bastion of light but things look dire.
What is the last bastion like?
Why hasn’t it fallen yet, what protects it?
Why is this protection now failing?
What enemy is standing at your gates?
What secret plan do you guys have to break this attack/siege?
Further questions as needed and go.
(( Now I want a pdf with a random D66 Table, 6 of those per page, 6 pages and the title “Dungeon World – Your story starts here” ))
This makes me think someone should make a post-apocalyptic hack of dungeon world. 😉
The last bastion of light is a bucolic region of farmers and simple folk. The ancient gods of life have woven powerful wards that have prevented the ramifying evil from turning focus upon, or even detecting, this region. These wards have been cracked by the thing foretold at the dawn of time that would bring chaos to this land — a traitor from inside, motivated by petty jealousy. The first hints of the evil outside have entered the untainted countryside in the form of shadowfolk, able to slip sideways from glance to glance, spying on the happy folk and preparing to return to their masters with word of the plunder available here. Our only hope is to capture the shadows and bind them in shackles of meteoric iron and lock them in the deepest mines where they will be lost to time.
David Reichgeld d66 Table?
Basically a d6 table looking like that:
1 epic
2 horror
3 weird
4 dungeon
5 dungeon2
6 grim&gritty
and then they each lead to a seperate table with 6 options.

Well…there you go.
Delos Adamski Hah!
Me, before looking at the Broken World Kickstarter: “Post-apoc DW?? AW is already a post-Apocalyptic setting, why would you even…” But now I want Broken World. It’s like gritty Adventure Time, fun!
@Delos Adamski lol literally.
I would absolutely buy the d66 Dw Starter book. Heck make it D666 and you’ve got a Kickstarter campaign right there.
We could totally crowdsource this ourselves. All we need is a Google Drive file that we can all edits, and we can each add in whatever parts we feel like.
I will most likely create this but if anyone wants to create a group project too, go ahead.
The year is 50 B.C. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well not entirely! One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds outagainst the invaders. And life is not easy for the Roman legionaries who garrison the fortified camps of Totorum, Aquarium, Laudanum and Compendium…
