After Johnstone Metzger’s link to Chris Geisels blog post on One Page Adventuring, I thought I’d make a post on a couple of quick and handy resources I use. I’m fairly new to Dungeon World myself, but I’ve been using these resources for some time now in my DCC games. By now, it’s most likely many of you already know about, and perhaps have used these resources. They may be old news to you. But I thought I’d mention them anyway, for those out there that may not know about them, or those new to DW and RPGs in general. I find them handy.
First, I find these One Page Dungeon Compendiums from Random Wizard useful for quick ideas and fast prep. It’s easy to create fronts for them. They are Pay What You Want at RPGNow.
Second, The Dungeon Alphabet, written by Michael Curtis and published by Goodman Games. I can’t say enough good things about this book. I think it fits perfectly with the DW system.
