Considering starting a PbP game using gDocs, I’ve never run PbP before, so it will be an adventure for all of us XD

I have some vague ideas for setting floating around but nothing concrete, drop a comment with questions or interest and we’ll see about getting something started ^_^

(I know Class Warfare is all the rage right now but I don’t have it yet, should before the game starts though if you care to use it)

  1. I’ve recently had the same idea, I’d love to hear how you get on with it.

I would love to play but I have no idea what time commitments I would be signing up for running my own and playing yours, can I sign up for a tentative yes? When are you looking at starting?

  2. Clearly I am suffering from DW withdrawal. What kind of campaign are you thinking of running, and which classes?

Edited to add: There’s no built-in way to do dice rolls in google docs, but invisiblecastle.com is great for rolling and you can post links to the rolls to keep people honest, although I’ve never been in a game where anyone needed to fudge dice rolls, ‘cuz even failure is fun. 🙂

I actually saw your post which was what got me thinking about it, and I’m mutually interested in hearing how you get on!

There isn’t since Dungeon World is such a narrative game and we’re all grown-ups here, I would be trusting the players to make their own dice rolls using their engine of choice (or real dice) and post their results when a check is asked for.

I know the feeling, that’s why I’m trying to get this running.  To be honest I haven’t given the world a lot of thought yet (honestly this is very spur of the moment), but it will allow for the standard classes & Class Warfare, if something’s really out there, we can discuss it as a group.  Also, thanks for the link!  It looks really useful, but I agree there’s no need to fudge rolls in DW

It would be great to have someone with some PbP experience on board, I’ve run games face to face and over hangouts, but I’ve never tried PbP before.
