Hey, is anyone interested in a text-based game of DW on G+?

Hey, is anyone interested in a text-based game of DW on G+? I’ve owned DW for quite a while, but I’m just now getting into it. I seems like it would be a great fit for PbP and I’m really itching to try it out.

I’m just looking for an interest check right now. I’ll GM, but I’d almost rather play if someone else has the itch. Care to give it a go?

  1. Edward Haggerty Tell me more about this! I used to play 3.x (and I still love the casual realism that it has) but I’m growing so weary of fiddly numbers and optimization discussions. I just want to be an awesome character with a neat personality who make hard choices. When I played 3.x, I’d almost always lobby for E6, which is basically just a style of play where only the first 6 levels exist.

  2. Methinks Edward Haggerty doth josh with thou. But I’ve also learned never to be surprised by a subculture, so maybe he really is running a campaign via Morse code.

  3. Just started GMing a PbP DW game myself, and so far it seems like a good fit. It brings up some funny questions though (when’s the end of the session?) but they’re easy to solve. The hardest part is actually getting my mostly D&D experienced DW virgins to describe more and just make moves less. 😉

  4. Thanks for the responses everyone. I had second thoughts about the Morse code game, but I was hoping that was just the name of the campaign arc or something. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt on the webs. And, no, I’m afraid I’m an East-Coaster.
