The Spellslinger is a combination of magical combat and wild west archetypes that is built for a fantasy setting, but can be easily tailored to modern fantasy.

The Google Doc linked is always available for free, but for this week, you can pick up the spellslinger PDF (which includes 3 variants) for $1 over at Drivethru RPG if you use this link:

Through the week, I’ll be discussing inspirations for the class, some of the iterations it went through that didn’t work, and possible applications for the moves. I’ll also be asking what the spellslinger represents and does in other people’s games.

  1. Thanks Adrian Thoen, I tought that setting couldn’t be changed. I think that visible watermarks are useless against piracy, and especially ugly when you print out the PDF. 🙂
