It’s not only allowed but encouraged!
Rather interesting to single out a tribal or horde monster though the history/nature text was a bit loose. I don’t have the book in front of me to see how the hp/damage is versus other monsters.
You could also add 1 pt of armor/camouflage of bone armor over it so it can hide in a bone pile to surprise people.
I would maybe lower the hitpoints and damage a bit. This thing is pretty deadly.
