We of course have the classics:

Dwarf

You are one with stone. When you commune you are also granted a special version of Words of the Unspeaking as a rote which only works on stone.

Human

Your faith is diverse. Choose one wizard spell. You can cast and be granted that spell as if it was a cleric spell.

But then there are more kinds of Clerics out there right?

Hit us up with your coolest Cleric Racial Moves!

For Inspiration:

Half Orc

Your deity demands blood, when you butcher a powerful enemy of your faith after a one on one duel, immediately gain a boon from your deity

Dark Elf

Darkness and Shadow are the domains of your deity. When you stand in the shadows you can manipulate and form them into cloaks of darkness or even light cover against attacks.

Kobold

When you use a spell on an ally, you infuse them with draconic might, granting them +1d4 damage forward

  1. Deva/Angelblood/Aasimar

Divine Magic is in your blood and in your veins. Choose 1 of your ongoing spells. You can ignore the first -1 penalty from that spell.

(can someone find a better wording for that? They basically should kind of have the effect of the Serenity move but just using that wording interacts weirdly when they actually take Serenity)

  2. Kor (from Magic the Gathering)

When you cast Magic Weapon, give it the forceful, piercing 2 or precise tag as long as the spell is active.

  3. Darren Priddy: well, if you click the link I posted above, you will find a Halfling Cleric racial move and an Elf Cleric racial move, among other things. 😉

  4. Faceless Cleric: You are well versed in a variety of religions, and can effortlessly fool lay folk into believing you are a cleric of any deity, and can always at least try to defy danger to convince a fellow priest or cleric of such as well.

  5. Gnome cleric: Curious Manipulation: Take +1 Forward to Spout Lore on mechanical devices and on Parley when trickery or illusion is involved.

(Tried to capture the duality of the gnomish spirit but I’m not entirely convinced its a cleric move… maybe better suited as a wizard or thief move?)

  6. Gnome Cleric – You are not only in contact with your deity but with the machine spirit as well. Your Turn undead move additionally effects machines, automatons, clockwork golems and similar  devices.
