I’ve seen a Shadowun hack for the PbtA engine called Sixty World out in the internet. Is the final version out yet? There are a few ideas I’d like to try with it, mostly just a couple more archetypes I want to add.

  1. So it is technically finished. So has anybody played this? Does it feel unfinished or is there anything you feel utterly necessary missing? Or is it pretty well rounded and kick ass?

  2. pretty well rounded and kicks ass.  I chose the digest edition and made a few changes and additions, but not many.  There could be more cybertech, and techomancers were missing (I added them), but it’s great overall.

  3. That is awesome to hear. I have never played SR before, mainly because it seems very group focused and I tend to just run games for the wife and I. Maybe this will prove a little more 1 on 1 friendly. I’m definitely going to check it out. Thanks Tom Miskey =)

  4. Marques Jordan One of the biggest complaints about SR is that a variety of characters are needed for a mission, but when one of them is doing “their thing”, the rest don’t have much to do.  So, while the hacker is hacking through the system and arranging for open doors and looped video, the rest of the party waits.  While the Rigger does a drone scouting op or is the getaway driver, the rest sit there.  And in a tough fight, the non-combatant types hang back and let the Street Samurai mow through the guards.

This means it’s actually perfect for a single player who plays each character in succession!  She plays the Hacker when he’s needed, the Rigger when she’s in the limelight, and so on.
