Hmmm…  Decided to go after the king of country.  This is where you bring in political alliances.  Assuming said king was not already at war with all of his neighbors (and it sounds like he probably wasn’t) he has probably struck deals with at least some of them.  The “brave adventures” should have found themselves facing at least one, possibly more than one, army.

    If morality in your games is not “black and white” you sometimes need to remind the players (with a really big stick).

  2. You have to be pretty darn awesome to assasinate the boss king. But RPG heroes are. I think this is where DW campaign world design principles are so neat. Nothing can break the campaign because it is designed to be broken. (I hope this last sentence says what I mean.)
