About 5 months ago, I proposed a list of new spells for Wizards, and several others here made some really great suggestions as well. That list seems to be lost in the depths of Google+, so I thought I might toss my original list back up, and see if we could get some more suggestions.
New Wizard Spells
– Conjure Grease (make things slippery and flammable)
– Magical Wall (block a direction or location with a certain number of HP)
– Affix Object (something becomes immovable, even in mid air)
– Spatial Awareness (gain knowledge of the space and moving beings around you)
– Language Relay (set up translation or long distance communication)
– Language Manipulation (improve or impede communication)
– Obscuring Mist (block senses into or out of an area)
– Animate Object (animate an object to follow your commands)
– Enervating Terrain (confuse and slow)
– Curse of Weakness (touch, inflict negative physical condition)
– Curse of Idiocy (touch, Inflict negative mental condition)
– Sapper’s Delight (move earth, dig trenches)
– Elemental Influence (produce or manipulate a small amount of an element)
If I remember correctly, because so many of these are “utility” spells, someone suggested that they be spells that can be learned at even levels. There was even a poster who suggested possible levels for the spells… I’m really disappointed that the whole thing seems lost.
Does anyone have any more recommendations?
Chris have you looked at your own google+ profile? There you can see a full listing of every post you have ever started. Or did you not start that original spell post?

I think that I was the poster that suggested possible levels for the spells. This is the spreadsheet I have (it was modified in time, but it’s definitely what you are speaking about).

Also, me and Luca Maiorani are currently working at a derivative grimoire of even level spells, with full text, that is meant for the Italian DW fanzine “Mondo Sotterraneo” (and is in Italian language, I am afraid).
I am really excited that someone saved that spreadsheet. I thought it was gone forever.
Are you planning on making the Mondo Sotteraneo stuff available generally? I don’t speak Italian, but I’d still like to get a larger spell list available.

In issue 2 there is a contribution by me, called “lo sposo dei ghiacci” with sposo meaning groom and ghiaccio meaning ice. It’s a compendium class meant for somebody who has found and loved the queen of the winter (a monster in the same issue, IIRC).
Andrea Ungaro is there any chance you have a link to the original post? I’m looking at the spreadsheet which looks great but I bet the original posts held much more information.

This really disturbed me. Does Google+ only index content X amount of months back or is this particular entry just up and disappeared?

Just click the curved arrow next to the +1 like button at the bottom of a post you like and share with yourself.
