Ran a game today at a con using the OSR Barrowmaze setting. Thanks to some late game-day advice found here the game was surprisingly easy and fun to run.
I really began to enjoy throwing dungeon moves at the players, announcing future badness, revealing unwelcome truths, and so on. The players quickly learned that a miss meant more than just fiction describing failure. It meant problems were nigh.
I can’t wait to run DW again!
