I was wondering if any of you wise Tavern patrons ever came up with a wildling-type compendium class. One of my players wants his Ranger to become a better fighter by mimicking his falcon pet, and down the ine drawing from the savagery of nature.

Any leads?

  1. Thanks Tim Franzke – I was about to look at your Druid CCs, but this fits the bill perfectly.

Peter Johansen Basically, the player wants his character to do extra damage because he thinks he’s too unlucky with his die rolls =)

I asked him how he would go about being a deadlier fighter and he said he would learn from his pet falcon. So I figure it’s either the wild one approach, or animal kungfu with twin swords… =)

(how do I add  pics to posts??)

    The Crane

When your left ankle is broken and you are one hit away from championship point, and you  stand on your right toes with your arms in a funny position, Roll+Dex.

    So in your case:

    The Falcon

When you fly high and spot your enemy…

Sorry, ran out of inspiration there, but you could invent a whole new style of fighting called  The Falcon and the write moves for it. Would be awesome..

  3. I don’t think you can include pics.

A fighting style was my first idea – it would have been fun to have a secret monastery of elven animal handlers hidden in the forest.

I don’t think we’re going to go this way though. It clashes with Sébastien’s portrayal of a rather stupid and impulsive half-elf ranger.
