Looking for very talented DM who is familiar with Dungeon World, Pathfinder or Dnd 5th edition (up to current playtest rules.) for a once in a life time gig.

You will be playing in a fully realized fantasy tavern and the game you are running will fit into a much larger game. [You will be playing a game within a game.]

You will have access to my personal collection of miniatures and terrain which rivals and exceeds terrain and miniatures used by  Chris Perkins in the Pax East WOTC events. The game is being held in Madison Connecticut. Must be able to travel to the event (We prefer someone local but as long as you can commit to 4 times a year and travel to the event you will be considered.) room /board and meals will also be provided.

We will hold auditions and the game you will be running will be a  multi-day game 4 times a year on the weekend. You will get paid  (although the money will not be much  somewhere around 120 dollars for 2 solid days of dming per weekend.]

If anyone is interested in this group email me for more info chris@persistentfantasy.com

  1. I would love to do this if I lived close. Since I don’t let me connect you with a helping hand. John Stavropoulos do you know anyone in that are that may be interested?

  2. Interesting. Thanks for the heads up Erik. I know many GMs in NYC although it looks like Madison is about 3-4 hours via public trans (2 via car). Some callouts… Max Saltonstall Matt Weber James Stuart Rachel E.S. Walton Kevin Allen Jr. Kevin Kulp

  3. This sounds very cool, can you give more info  about the larger event and what it is like? I’m curious as a GM but also as an event coordinator and convention organizer. Sounds very cool!

  4.       Sure http://www.arcanelive.com is the larger game. Very little info is up yet but for lack of a better way to explain it its a live action role playing game with much higher production values than you would normally attribute to the genre.  The rules are also custom built to be completely immersive. There is no damage calling for instance and we have custom Hollywood level prop artists making weapons/armor and props.

You would be DMing a game surrounded by a living breathing fantasy world that would run for the weekend. The cool part comes into play within the execution and how it subtly ties into the overall game. I cant unfortunately go into much more detail yet. Feel free to email me if your interested.
