Are there any plans (and if they’re not, could there be?) to make a “moves” codex on the DW website similar to the brilliant monster codex? I think that would be awesome.

  1. I asked this questions about a month ago, and I believe the answer was yes, but it will take some time/money.

Edit: I did some searching for it and it was buried in a post on moves.  But on April 7th Adam said it was planned and would be started after the Barbarian class, but would have to cost nothing to do and he would decide if/when it would be done.

  2. I’m pretty sure I was the one who said I’d do it, not Adam, since I do all the coding. That or Adam is committing me to stuff again.

We’re certainly not going to hit people up for money for it.

Which just leaves time, which is at a premium. At the moment I’d prefer to get the war supplement, the color layout, and Juntu’s Floating Ice Hell done to finish up our Kickstarter obligations. Alongside that I have a few side DW things, two short games, and one longer game that I’m working on in some way or another. Adding moves to the compendium falls somewhere in there.

That said, I don’t have to be the one that does it. The source code for the codex is all open: https://github.com/Sagelt/dungeon-world-codex
